What does our
copyright protect?
Copyright
protects expression. The Copyright Act of
1976 states that "The items of expression
can include literary, dramatic, and
musical works; pantomimes and
choreography; pictorial, graphic and
sculptural works; audio-visual works;
sound recordings; and architectural works.
The original expression is eligible for
copyright protection as soon as it is
fixed in a tangible form."
This site has
been copyrighted and documented per the
requirements of Section 18 U.S.C. 2257 and
the regulations of Section 75 C.F.R. 75,
and our records are available to all
governmental agencies. This includes the
text of our web pages, ASCII text
documents, graphics files, as well as
executable computer programs.
Additionally,
digital watermarks have been added to the
images on our site, and the location of
our images are tracked.
We will
vigorously pursue legal action in defense
of our copyright.
