These covers utilize our secure, state-of-the-art over lug attachment that bolts on without lug nut removal. This attachment system eliminates the hassle of the now obsolete, under the lug mount, typically called bolt-on, which required removing lug nuts.

Our “over the lug” mount system is now used widely on heavy commercial trucks.

Important: 22mm attachment nuts ship with this set, the most common wheel stud size. However, some chassis are equipped with 20mm wheel studs. Therefore, please verify your wheel stud size so that we can ship the correct attachment hardware with your order.

Wheel stud size can be determined using a closed-end metric wrench, slid over the wheel stud to verify the stud size, or a measurement caliper.

If you have 22mm wheel studs, a 7/8″ wrench will fit correctly over the stud protrusion above the lug nut.

If you have 20mm wheel studs – a 7/8″ wrench will loosely fit when placed over the stud protrusion above the lug nut.

If you place a 13/16″ socket over the stud protrusion, it will slide over a 20mm wheel stud but NOT over a 22mm stud.

To avoid the additional expense and needless hassle of a hardware swap, please leave us a note at checkout if you find you have 20mm wheel studs to ensure that you will receive the correct mounting hardware with your order.

To confirm your wheel number, look on the exposed side of the steel wheel, between the lug nuts, or about an inch from the rim edge.

Verifying this number is the best way to ensure fit. Unfortunately, ordering by make, model, or year has often proven unreliable due to several factory wheel/tire options typically available for any vehicle model year.

We do not sell knock-off generic, unbranded wheel covers that loosely fit a broad range of specifications. Squeaks and rattles can be a result of a poor fit of wheel covers over steel wheels.
