Description
The price is for a set of (4) as shown.
These Genuine Eagle® rim covers fit trailers with 16″ or 16.5″ dual steel wheels 1980-current.
NOT for aluminum wheels (a magnet will not stick).
The steel (magnet sticks) trailer wheels must be either stamped 16″ x 6.00″, 16″ x 6.50″, or 16″ x 6.75″ wide dual style, with eight lug nuts and four vent holes.
Additionally, your wheels must have a 6.5″ bolt circle (see the photo). Please measure your wheel bolt circle to ensure fitment.
Features removable center hubcaps for fast hub oil inspection
As shown, the price is for one set of (4) Genuine Eagle covers. It includes mounting hardware, installation tool, and shipping within the contiguous 48 U.S.A. states. Please be informed that we will no longer process orders for shipment outside of this area, and we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
These covers feature a secure over-the-lug attachment that bolts to your wheel without lug nut removal. Our system eliminates the hassle of the now obsolete under the lug mount, which required lug nut removal to install. This state-of-the-art attachment eliminates the bolt-on hassles of yesteryears. Our mounting system is now used widely on heavy commercial trucks.
Important: your wheel studs must protrude beyond your lug nuts with at least three threads showing to mount these rim covers.
If you do not have adequate wheel stud thread protrusion, please contact
us, and we will be happy to direct you to the correct item number.
The covers fit perfectly on wheel numbers: 28000; 17-157; 17-158; 17-159; 17-217 or 17-279
Before ordering, please verify your wheel number, lug nut count, bolt-circle, and wheel hand hole count.
To confirm your wheel number, look on the exposed side of the steel wheel, between the lug nuts, or about an inch from the rim edge.
Verifying this number is the best way to ensure fit. Ordering by make, model, or
a year has often proven unreliable due to several factory wheel/tire options typically available for any model year.
We do not sell knock-off generic, unbranded wheel covers that loosely fit a
broad range of specifications. Squeaks and rattles can result from a poor fit of wheel covers over steel wheels.
If you need assistance, please get in touch with us, and we will be happy to help. Please include the following information with your correspondence 1.) Your wheel number, including any other stamped rim numbers 2.) The make, model, and year 3.) Wheel lug nut count and hand count 4. We can also review any photos of your wheels emailed.
For steel painted wheels only (magnet sticks) – WILL NOT FIT ALUMINUM WHEELS.
Our wheel covers are manufactured from high-quality, Never Rust, bright polished stainless steel and backed by our lifetime warranty. We do not use anything but the best quality stainless to avoid the cracking and yellow tint discoloration common to lower quality generic unbranded knock-off covers. Our products will never rust in any climate and rival chrome in appearance.
In the event of damage or an accident, we also make single covers or hardware available to our customers, so you can fix what is required, rather than be forced into buying a whole new set.
Our trademark high-quality resin bubble center emblems (as shown) dress up the appearance when installed and are your assurance you have purchased Genuine Eagle Flight covers.
Eagle Flight covers meet the highest ISO quality standards. Meeting such stringent world-renowned manufacturing standards is rare in our industry and assures the highest level of fit and finish. As a result, Eagle Flight covers will look the same as the day of installation when the vehicle is retired from service and will never rust or turn yellow over time.
Low-quality, unbranded stainless wheel covers will rust over time and typically do not have a warranty or a minimal one at best.
Eagle Flight® brand covers are backed by our Lifetime Warranty, which serves as your assurance you have purchased the highest quality with the best fit and finish available. We do not sell inferior quality generic knock-off wheel rim covers.
Don’t be fooled; beware of PLASTIC chrome-plated covers sold elsewhere.
Plastic has nowhere near the life of high-quality stainless steel and cannot withstand the rigors of the constant assault of road debris over time like stainless steel. Cracking due to debris strikes during temperature extremes is also entirely possible. Additionally, plastic-coated covers commonly suffer chrome discoloration from car wash chemicals, deicing products, and gravel used on roads, resulting in pitting the soft plastic surface that can end up flaking the chrome coating due to road debris strikes. Finally, ABS PLASTIC is a considerably cheaper material than high-quality polished stainless steel. Buyers need to be aware of these relevant issues.
Our covers have a lifetime finish warranty.
