Description
note: A color match to any make, model, or year is not guaranteed or
implied, and the actual color may appear different than the photo you
see on your screen due to variations in dye lots and natural fur
absorption.
Generous 52″ X 13″ size fits most bucket seat centers providing maximum comfort right where you sit without interfering or bunching up on thigh and torso bolsters.
Fitment advice for a specific make, model, and year vehicle is not available. Therefore, please be sure to measure your seats and review our photos to determine if these covers will suit your needs before ordering.
For the backrest installation, remove the adjustable headrest, position the seat cover over the rod slot, and cut a small slit in the seat cover top for the headrest (single rod/or double) rod slots. A sharp razor blade works nicely for cutting the slit. The seat cover will not unravel from the slit as the integrated non-slip backing material prohibits this. Then, when the headrest is reinstalled, the headrest rod holds the sheepskin seat cover backrest in place custom-fitted correctly to the backrest height of your particular seat without the need for unsightly upper seat straps. In addition, cutting the rod slit at installation allows our customers to obtain the best possible installation fitment and appearance in the backrest area, as some seat backrests are taller than others.
We pay for shipping within the contiguous 48 states. The average delivery time is 2-5 business days on this item. Please be informed that we will no longer process orders for shipment outside of this area, and we do not ship to P.O. boxes, sorry.
Our seat cover features the highest quality Australian Merino Sheepskin Pelts available on the market. They are the same quality we use in our most expensive tailor-made covers and are dense and plush. Our covers provide the highest level of comfort and protection available for your original equipment seats.
NEW: We have now added a soft, durable high quality rubberized non-slip backing, so the seat covers do not slide around. The elastic installation straps are color-coordinated to the sheepskin color you order.
Our sheepskin seat cover is soft, super plush, and cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than any other seat covers. This fact is due to the natural properties of sheepskin. Sheepskin seat covers provide unequaled comfort year-round and protect your seats from damage adding to your vehicle resale value. Sheepskin seat covers are always comfortable because they are very soft and provide a cushion of air that acts as a thermal insulator.
Sheepskin seat covers are the most popular in places where it is extremely hot or cold. It could be 100 degrees outside, in direct sun, and you could get into your vehicle with a t-shirt and shorts on, without any concern of being scorched by your seat. During cold winter months, sheepskin seat covers work in the exact opposite way, insulating you from the cold, adding comfort and warmth. Sheepskin seat covers provide a plush cushion of insulating air between you and your original seat cover and protect against scratching, stains, and sun fade. Sheepskin seat covers will add resale value to your vehicle by protecting your expensive upholstery from wear and sun damage.
Additionally, sheepskin’s natural lanolin improves the durability of leather seats over time, making sheepskin seat covers a worthwhile investment. Our sheepskin seat covers typically last at least five years or more under heavy use.
These covers offer many advantages:
Sheepskin will not give off an electrical charge. Synthetic seat covers are a 100% insulator of electrical energy. All-natural sheepskin provides a controlled release of static electricity created by your body’s friction and the environment. Sheepskin also absorbs sweat immediately and can release this into the air seven times faster than synthetics.
Sheepskin is gentle on your skin because it contains lanolin, a substance similar to that found in human skin. Sheepskin is dirt and bacteria resistant. The lanolin in natural sheepskin provides a self-cleaning quality that has been known for centuries when sheepskin is hung outside occasionally in the fresh air.
We use the state-of-the-art tanning process called Chrome Tanning for our seat vest covers. Chrome tanning is an expensive tanning process but does not produce the obnoxious off-gassing that inferior covers exhibit.
