Description
These Genuine Eagle® rim covers fit the Blue Bird Bus equipped with 22.5″ 10 Lug 5 Vent Hole hub-piloted steel wheels that have a 285.75mm (11 7/32″) bolt circle with one of the noted wheel numbers.
Hub-piloted steel wheels that have washers built into the back of the lug nuts – see the image.
This set ships standard with 22mm attachment nuts which is the most common wheel stud size. However, Bluebird chassis are also sometimes equipped with 20mm wheel studs. Therefore, you need to verify your wheel stud size to ensure you are shipped the correct attachment hardware with your order. If the wheel stud size is not verified at the vehicle with a caliper or metric wrench, the hardware you receive may not fit, resulting in the additional time and expense of a required hardware swap in such a case. We do not want this to happen to you, so please verify the wheel stud size to ensure you are ordering correctly and receive the correct parts.
If you have 20mm wheel studs – a 7/8″ wrench will loosely fit when placed over the stud protrusion above the lug nut.
If you have 22mm wheel studs, a 7/8″ wrench will fit correctly over the stud protrusion above the lug nut.
These covers utilize our secure, state-of-the-art over lug attachment that bolts on without lug nut removal. This state-of-the-art attachment system eliminates the mounting hassle of the now obsolete under the lug mount, typically referred to as bolt-on, which required removal of lug nuts to install. Our “over the lug” mount system is now used widely on heavy commercial trucks.
The price is for a complete set of four – (2) front steer axle covers and (2) drive axle covers and includes all mounting hardware, installation wrench, and UPS shipping within the contiguous 48 USA states. Please be informed that we will no longer process orders for shipment outside of this area, and we do not ship to P.O. boxes.
Perfect fit for these wheel numbers: 91048E; 25415; 27611; 27709; 27765; 27766; 27834; 28487; 28642; 28842; 29001; 29169; 29300; 50487; 90262E
Please verify your wheel number, lug nut count, and wheel hand hole count before ordering.
To check your wheel number, look on the steel wheel’s exposed side, between the lug nuts, or about an inch from the rim edge.
Verifying this number is the best way to ensure fit. Ordering by make, model, or year has often proven unreliable due to several factory wheel/tire options typically available for any given vehicle model year.
We do not sell knock-off generic, unbranded wheel covers that loosely fit a broad range of specifications. Squeaks and rattles can be a result of a poor fit of wheel covers over steel wheels. In contrast, our line of covers has match the specifications of actual wheel numbers in use on given make, model, and year vehicles. This significant attention to detail has enabled us to provide a complete line of wheel covers that set the standard for precise fitment to O.E.M. wheel specifications, thereby ensuring our product’s long-term, trouble-free performance.
Verifying that your wheel number, lug nut count, wheel hand hole count, and wheel lug nut type (hub-pilot or stud-pilot) matches our product description will ensure that your new wheel covers will fit perfectly. Please do not rely just on vehicle make, model, and year or memory (if the truck or trailer is currently not available), as this can result in mistakenly ordering the wrong set of wheel covers. We do not want this to happen to you, so please take the time to physically check your wheels to ensure they match the given description before ordering.
If you need assistance, please contact us, and we will be happy to help. Please include the following information in your correspondence. 1. Your wheel number, including any other stamped rim numbers 2. The vehicle make, model, and year 3. Your wheel lug nut count and hand count
For steel painted wheels only (magnet sticks) – WILL NOT FIT ALUMINUM WHEELS.
Manufactured from our Finest Grade, never rust bright polished stainless steel, and backed by our lifetime warranty. We do not use anything but the best quality stainless to avoid the cracking and yellow tint discoloration common to lower quality generic unbranded knock-off covers. Unlike low-quality stainless that often will rust over time with exposure, Our covers will never rust in any climate and rival chrome in appearance. In the event of damage or an accident, we also make available single covers or hardware to our customers, so you can fix what is required, rather than buying a whole new set.
Each set or individual cover we offer includes our trademark high-quality resin bubble center emblems (as shown) that dress up the appearance when installed and are your assurance you have purchased Genuine Eagle Flight covers.
Eagle Flight covers meet the highest ISO quality standards. Meeting such stringent world-renowned manufacturing standards is rare in our industry and assures the highest fit and finish level. Our Eagle Flight covers will fit great and look the same as the day you installed them when the vehicle finally is retired from service.
