Plastic wheel covers often utilize a cheap ring mount connected by flimsy plastic tabs that can crack or break when installing the covers. This type of mount is designed only to stay on the wheel if constant full ring tension is maintained. All it takes is one cracked plastic retention tab, and the cover is junk. Most applications are available with No Lug Removal bolt-on retention. All that you do is position the wheel simulators on your wheel and install the included jam nuts onto the stud protruding from your lug nut. Some applications require using included stud extenders, but installation is always quick and secure.
