What are Tonno covers? Tonno covers or Tonneau
covers are pickup truck bed covers. Typically, Tonno covers (
Tonneau covers ) consist of a metal aluminum frame with a soft
vinyl impregnated canvas tarp that attaches to the metal frame
and covers the entire pickup truck bed. This type of truck bed
cover hides valuables that are stored in the truck bed and protects
such against the weather. Tonno covers are proven to increase
gas mileage because they smooth out the air flow over the pickup
truck bed and gains of 2-3 miles per gallon are not uncommon.
Tonno covers are available in a wide range of styles from models
that lift up to open, to models that mount between the trucks
bed rails and roll up for storage. Most modern Tonno covers clamp
on to the pickup bed rails and drilling is not required to mount.
